Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, RMUTL organized RMUTL International Arts Design & Architecture Workshops and Exhibition 2024 under the concept of “from the roots to join... The roots of Lanna knowledge and wisdom towards the innovation of contemporary wisdom” with the honor from Mr. Suraphon Kiatchaiyakorn, Advisor to the Minister of Culture as the chairman, gave the opening speech. Asst.Prof.Dr.Jutturit Thongpron, Acting President, gave a report at the Bodhi Phuttha Conference Room, RMUTL (Ched Yot).
For the workshop project and international creative visual arts design and Architecture exhibitions, 2024 is a collaboration with a network of 4 educational institutions, including the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, RMUTL, Faculty of Architecture and Creative Arts, RMUTI, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, RMUTT and Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, SSRU is a spirit of cooperation in increasing capacity and potential for academic work development including teaching, research, design, and operations. Study visits, training seminars, academic services, preserving arts and culture educational development, and exchange support for personnel to continue studies at the master's and doctoral degrees. which has rotated to host continuous projects every year. Within the event, there was a special lecture on the topic “Thai Spirituality as Soft Power” by Emeritus Professor Emeritus Preecha Thaothong, National Artist, Department of Visual Arts (Painting) and Professor Decha Warashoon, National Artist, Visual Arts field (prints and mixed media). There is an exhibition of works by senior lecturers, a group of artists, designers, architects, both domestic and international, totaling 250 people from 10 countries, 25 universities and Workshops for wisdom of Lanna craftsmanship, 10 families of artisans named metal punching work, lacquerware, weaving scriptures, palm leaf inscriptions, Lanna stucco, antique silverware, Lanna pottery, Lanna kham pattern, Tie dyeing natural fabric, Lanna paper cutting art.
